Singleton’s Seafood Shack is one of my favorite Jacksonville restaurants. Every time Payton and I go it feels like vacation. I like to eat on the screened-in porch over the water and watch the shrimp boats and the ferry. Just two weeks ago, they built a new outdoor patio where they are going to set up a tiki bar. It will be so nice to enjoy day-time drinks out there.

My brother gave me the best gift: the deluxe edition of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith and Jane Austen (of course). It’s a very timely present, given that Halloween is around the corner. I am a devout Jane Austen fan. The book has full color illustrations of the Bennet sisters kung-fu chopping Zombies in Regency England. I haven’t read the book yet, but the reviews are all very good, so I can’t wait!
