I LOVE LOVELY

lovely people, places and things that i love.

I am headed to D.C. this morning.  In what is becoming typical Courtney fashion, I missed my flight.
I spent 7 lovely years in D.C. until my antsy pants decided I needed to do something else with my life.  There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of my D.C. friends.  They are my core group of forever girls, and it’s hard to think that most of us are spread out all over the world now leading very different lives.
This weekend I am visiting my friends Katie and Caryn, who conveniently still live in D.C. for all of us to visit and reunite, and my friend Kara, who is going to be in town from L.A.
Caryn just had a BABY and Katie is PREGNANT!  I am thrilled to finally get to see the little bundle of perfectness that resembles my dearest friend and spend some time with these girls who mean the world to me.
The picture is from New Year’s Eve last year.  From left to right: Katie, Kara, Me, Mary, Caryn, Allyson and (laying on top of us) Cindy.
